Ideal for hand spun art yarn

This roving has "heft"! Made from often overlooked wool, this wool is ideal for those projects needing some strength to them. Made from a variety of wools that include Scottish Blackface, Icelandic mix, Shetland mix, Gotland, and some of our adorable mutt sheep (the ones that thrived on pasture) it's been blended for long-draw spinning, peg loom weaving, and wet felting. The mixed fibre lengths provide a long staple and a storng felt.

Some of the projects this roving is ideal for is felted slippers, art yarns, peg loom rugs, and felted rugs.
