Wool, a truly remarkable renewable resource, offers numerous benefits. Its natural, breathable, insulation properties, along with its ability to biodegrade, compost, and be reused, make it a standout in sustainability. Through our take-back program, we are giving our wool packaging a second life, further enhancing its eco-friendly profile.

Each Food Delivery Box Set features a strong cardboard box containing two of our insulating fibre liners.

Our standard box can hold a maximum of 25kg of product. Depending on the amount of ice packs used in the box, Inswoolation can be effective for up to 72 hours.


Reusing your Inwoolation Box is not just a step; it's a responsibility. The first level of reuse is when the box has made numerous trips. The second stage of reuse involves repurposing the packaging for a different intended purpose. Insulation liners can be downcycled (or upcycled, depending on one's perspective) in several ways. Using an Inswoolation box for many trips is the easiest way to make the most of the energy invested in creating the packaging. If you aren't able to repurpose your Inswoolation, you can return it to us. Even if it's all torn and shredded, we can still make it useful. For instance, we use shredded packaging for insulation in our facilities, diverting it from landfill and reducing our environmental impact.

Furthermore, our cardboard delivery boxes are made from recycled materials that meet FSC standards and are also recyclable.

Using wool for food packaging significantly reduces waste compared to traditional materials. Once the insulation liners and felted wool are no longer useful as packaging, they can be repurposed for various applications. As a sustainable business rooted in green principles, we recognize the vital role we play in improving our world.
