Skirting Fleece- how to skirt, sort, and prep your fibre for processing.

Preparing your fleece for processing can be a daunting project, especially if you have never done it before. This workshop is ideal for those wanting to get better value from their fleece, and prepare it for a mini mill. 

In this workshop, for 2 hours, you will work with various types of raw fleece from different types of sheep. You will learn how to evaluate the amount of vegetation, dirt, type of wool, strength, quality, and type of wool you are looking at to best determine the best possible use would be. 

If youhave your own fleeces, you are welcome to bring those to work on.
