Needle felting is a fun, simple, and creative activity. Using a specialized needle, some wool, and a straightforward technique, you can create amazing pieces of art. Ideal for groups of all ages. Go home with a unique felted projects and the right tools to finish it if you don't in class.
In this workshop, you will get an overview of tools, materials and techniques used in felting onto a flat surface. This will include:
types of fibre- farm, local, and imported
tools - singles, multi, and spiral needles, different types of multi tools
substrates - wool, mixed, and woven fabrics
reusing existing materials
colour blending - how to create your own colours
This workshop is suitable for all spaces that have access to tables and chairs. Ages 10 and up.
Each workshop is priced per person. Minimum of 3 people; for fewer than 3, the fee is $175, plus travel fee @ $0.50/km
