Wooly Wednesdays On Wednesday, July 30, and August 6, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, visit The Solar Sheep at Conestoga College.
During your visit, you will learn about the role of sheep in sustainable energy, explore different types and breeds of sheep and their strengths. You'll learn how wool has been used historically and new, modern innovations. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to see how wool goes from fleece to finished item. Then you can try your hand at spinning, felting, and even weaving, all while spending time with the sheep.
